Night of Champions 2010

Thursday, May 6th, 2010 7:00 pm

Athletes in Action World Training and Resource Center, Schindler Banquet Center

Xenia, Ohio

On Thursday evening, May 6, 2010, Athletes in Action will hold its fifth annual Night of Champions. This event honors inductees into the prestigious AIA Hall of Faith. The inductees, one male and one female from the world of sports, are chosen for their faith, leadership, character and integrity on and off the field of competition.

This year, AIA is proud to announce 2010 Hall of Faith inductees Jennifer Johnson Jordan, top rated professional beach volleyball player and Olympian as the female recipient of this national award and Jim Tressel, head football coach of The Ohio State Buckeyes as the male recipient.

Past recipients of this esteemed honor include Anthony Muñoz, the late Kay Yow, John Wooden, Madeline Manning Mims, Bart Starr, Leah O’Brien-Amico, John Peterson, and Ruth Riley.

Night of Champions is part of the Sports Legend Series that includes the Super Bowl Breakfast (Super Bowl Weekend, Miami, Florida); Legends of the Hardwood Breakfast (NCAA Final Four, Indianapolis, Indiana); and the All-Star Breakfast (NBA All-Star Weekend, Dallas, Texas).

Night of Champions attracts a select audience of community, civic, sport, celebrity, and business leaders and gives sponsors unparalleled value and benefits.

The deadline to act on sponsorship opportunities is April 15, 2010.

Proceeds from Night of Champions benefit the World Training and Resource Center and further the development of the Sports Complex and Conference Center.
